The Molo Brin will shine with blue light, the Ferris wheel will turn into an extraordinary “Blue Planet” and the Archaeological Museum into an engaging immersive water screen.
Citizens and visitors will be the stars of the show, wearing the symbolic color of this magical night: the blue.
The Concert for the Mediterranean, organized in the year dedicated to water, brings together national and international Word Music artists such as NOA, Giovanni Allevi, Elisa, Ghali and Fiorella Mannoia.
The concert sends a powerful call to action for ocean conservation and peace, urging the audience to champion environmental protection and global unity.
This unforgettable evening weaves together music, nature, and hope, inspiring a collective commitment to a better future.
The Concert for the Mediterranean will feature KID CREOLE & THE COCONUTS, an American band founded in 1980 by August Darnell, characterized by a style that blends disco, funk, new wave, and Caribbean rhythms. The group is famous for its theatrical performances with Darnell in the role of the charismatic Kid Creole – an elegant dandy with a thin mustache – accompanied by the Coconuts, singers and dancers in exotic clothing. Among the best-known hits are “Annie, I’m Not Your Daddy”, “Stool Pigeon” and “I’m a Wonderful Thing, Baby”, classics of 80s dance music.
Followed by the DJ Set by RDS conducted by Claudio Guerrini.
